Role Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in projects. You will be responsible for managing the costs and contracts associated with a wide range of construction initiatives. Your role will involve collaboration with both main and sub-contracting partners, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project costs and track expenditures.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial success.
- Evaluate variations and handle change orders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
- Participate in project risk assessment and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of main or sub-contracting practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Excel, QS software).
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
