Opportunity for a Structural Engineer with proven experience to join a leading built environment consultancy in their London team, helping clients transform the quality and sustainability of the built environment. They recognise hard work and reward their people accordingly.
The role:
- Carry out detailed design calculations to EuroCodes using latest 3D design software;
- Prepare outline designs for structural schemes based on client brief;
- Coordinate your designs with other design teams;
- Attend site and client meetings with more senior engineer;
- Carry out structural surveys;
- Analyse and report on structural defects.
You will need a proactive approach and be a team player able to work with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in civil or structural engineering;
- Experience of structural design and site attendance;
- In depth knowledge of Regulatory requirements;
- Understanding of sustainability issues in structural design;
- Proficient in use of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit plus more;
- Experience of report writing;
- Good understanding of buildings structures behaviour.
