We have an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join the London office of a leading global engineering firm.
The practice has an enviable and expanding portfolio of both UK and international schemes. The successful Senior Structural Engineer will work on a range of iconic buildings structures projects, including RC frame, refurbishment, and major international projects.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
- Be a Chartered or near Chartered Structural Engineer;
- Have at least 6 years’ experience in UK consultancy.
Duties:
- Take a lead role of projects, overseeing the production of detailed structural designs & analysis calculations;
- Work with the team in the use of a range of design software to produce simulations & prepare design documents;
- Guiding junior Structural Engineers including mentoring them, ensuring their development & offering advice;
- Checking the quality & accuracy of work;
- Manage a wide range of projects within a fast-paced environment, ensuring high quality delivery, on time & to budget;
- Representing the company at external meetings.
