About our client:

A dynamic team of 20 Chartered Quantity Surveyors, operating in both the public and private sectors. Based in Glasgow, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their innovative and collaborative team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Leading cost management and procurement strategies.
  • Preparing, managing, and reviewing cost estimates and budgets.
  • Monitoring project financial performance and providing recommendations for cost control.
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing solutions for risk mitigation.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Chartered status as a Quantity Surveyor (MRICS).
  • Proven experience in cost management and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office.
