Experienced Senior Architectural Technologist required to join a growing future thinking Architectural Practice located in Shipley, West Yorkshire

Our client are a small, but rapidly expanding, enthusiastic and future-thinking practice comprised of a team of architectural technologists, architects, principal designers, surveyors, retrofit experts and 3D/graphic specialists. Their work encompasses a wide variety of sectors, including:

  • Residential (small and large projects)
  • Commercial
  • Industrial
  • Retail
  • Social & Community

The ideal Senior Architectural Technologist candidate will have the following :

  • Minimum 5-10 years practice experience.
  • Qualified to minimum HNC/HND and /or Degree level, MCIAT beneficial, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills & confidence dealing with the team internally & clients / consultants externally.
  • Well organised with great time management abilities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD / Autodesk apps including Revit, good working knowledge of Microsoft & Adobe software & 3D rendering packages is beneficial.
  • Confident running projects from feasibility to completion, including ability to carry out consultant coordination including onsite visits.
  • Excellent knowledge of RIBA Stages, planning & building regulations.
  • Keen interest in the sustainability of buildings.
  • Experience in Retrofit / EnerPHit / DEA / Energy Efficiency etc. would be beneficial.
  • Own vehicle & willing to travel.
  • Ability to work as an integral part of the team & confident managing solo projects.
  • Ambition to assist the growth of the company.

Renumeration & Benefits -

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will be offered the following :

  • Competitively salaried position, negotiable, dependant on experience between £40,000 - £45,000

The position is office based and you will be contracted to work 37 hours per week.
