James Jackson

Director

Architectural Practices, House Builders, Developers & Multi-Disciplinary Consultancies - Yorkshire

My recruitment career commenced in 2007 where I was given my breakthrough opportunity within a large PLC Recruiter specialising in the Built Environment and Public Sector markets, I quickly progressed through all stages of the consultant ranks and latterly established a very successful Leeds Technical division which I proudly managed alongside running my lucrative Architecture desk.

2015 marked the Year of my Conrad inauguration, I was tasked as Divisional Manager to set up our Leeds office, establish our brand in the North and increase market share across our core markets focussing initially on our Architecture offering which now extends considerably across the UK.

I am privileged to have recently been made a Director within the business and, alongside our Managing Director and fellow Director, it is our intention to considerably grow the business, whilst retaining our niche feel as one of a select few truly dedicated Built Environment Recruitment consultancies.

Outside of my operational duties as a Director my focus is to retain a selection of established Architectural clients and continue to offer my services as a Recruiter typically securing placements for the very best Architects and Architectural Technologists across the Yorkshire region.

My inch wide mile deep approach over the years has allowed me to build historical client relationships which critically allows me to appropriately represent them in a crowded market, my candidate philosophy is to be credible and transparent, securing someone a new job is momentous and is a process I take very incredibly seriously.

Outside of work I am very fortunate to live in beautiful part of rural East Lancashire, I live adjacent to a working dairy farm which my young son Teddy and I spend many happy hours getting our hands dirty. When I am not playing at being a farmer, I am either walking my best mate Dave who is my adorable West Highland White terroir or I am busy annoying my other half who apparently is always cleaning up after me!
