Senior Architectural Technologist required to join a coveted AJ100 practice as they grow their presence into the Manchester market. They are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to support the design and project delivery of various large scale complex projects across various design sectors.
We are collaborating with a forward-thinking design Practice that retains a presence as one of the most influential and design-led firms, boasting a successive record of precision executed commissions within the Healthcare, Residential, Commercial sectors. The practice has established regional studios throughout the north of the UK and recently made a re-entry into the acclaimed AJ100 top tire list of practices. Their growing company has a talented team of 40 design professionals across their regional studios who all benefit from a core hours flexible working policy and having invested in portable tech and mobile phone, on offer here is a modern hybrid working model where typically most employees work 2 days from home and the remainder in the studio.
Paramount to the success of this role is to secure the services of a Senior Architectural Technologist who has confident client facing and job running abilities, ideally you will be able to evidence several multi million pound schemes that they have led project delivery from RIBA stages 4-7. As Senior Architectural Technologist you will tasked with ensuring the technical design is meticulously delivered and be responsible for coordinating design consultants on site.
As Senior Architectural Technologist you will be required to have a proficient working knowledge of REVIT software ideally and all round excellent technical skills, you will recognise and understand how buildings are constructed and have a good all round construction knowledge.
Ideally the Senior Architectural Technologist will have the following track record–
*Degree qualified MCIAT Architectural Technologist minimum 5-10 years post qualification experience.
*Technical proficiency in REVIT and previous experience of delivering projects to BIM Level 2 standard.
*Some previous Commercial experience with complex buildings within your portfolio.
*Extensive job running / site delivery experience / excellent client facing skills.
*Historically have successfully delivered several multi million pound new build projects.
*Solid knowledge of UK Building regulations.
*Naturally excellent client facing and presentation skills.
*Excellent all round Technical knowledge and a through understanding of how buildings are constructed.
*Full UK Driving licence.
*Keen to make a positive cultural influence in a growing business.
Salary depending on experience up to £40,000 - £48,000 + 25 days holiday, private healthcare, pension, non-discretionary bonus, Agile hybrid working policy – 2 days from home and 3 in the office.
