We are partnering with a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor in their search for an experienced Electrical Project Manager. Our client specialises in delivering projects across various sectors. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of electrical projects across multiple sectors.
- Manage project teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to establish project requirements, address concerns, and provide regular updates.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, progress, and safety compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, delivering successful projects across various sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management tools, software, and techniques.
- Sound understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications in project management or electrical engineering are advantageous.
