Our client is an industry leading firm offering construction services with a core specialism of buildings and civil engineering.
Their office in Leeds is seeking a principal engineer as their workload continues to grow and the office expands. As a principal engineer you will work on a vast range of construction and infrastructure related schemes, including many high-profile projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide design solutions, technical advice and engineering support on schemes which include both temporary and permanent works;
- Contribute to the delivery of more complex services;
- Temporary works design and checking, above and below ground in all materials, integrated with permanent works design;
- Tender stage and bid winning support;
- Technical assessment and review of 3rd party designs;
- Manage and mentor more junior members of the team.
About you:
- Chartered or near Chartered, MIStructE or MICE;
- Interest or experience in temporary works design;
- Full UK driving licence.
