Role Overview: As a Pre-Construction Manager, you'll be at the forefront of project development, ensuring a smooth transition from conception to construction. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to deliver comprehensive pre-construction services, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the pre-construction phase of projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Conduct thorough feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses to inform project viability.
* Oversee the development of tender packages, including scope of work, specifications, and pricing.
* Collaborate with design teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to optimise project designs and value engineering.
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance throughout the pre-construction process.
* Manage procurement activities, negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies throughout the pre-construction phase.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pre-construction processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a pre-construction management role within a main contracting environment.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing design & build projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset with a focus on problem-solving, decision-making, and innovation.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
