As a Senior Estimator, you will excel in fulfilling your responsibilities while effectively managing and planning resources or nurturing and supporting key accounts.
Your primary duty will entail ensuring the successful execution of multiple commissions, along with acting as a mentor to others and driving the performance of the business forward.
Responsibilities:
- Take our Estimating capability to new heights by championing technical excellence and fostering service innovation.
- Lead the utilisation and advancement of estimating software such as Cost X, Cost OS, and other established tools.
- Contribute to Cost Intelligence initiatives, enriching our cost databases and enhancing benchmarking capabilities.
- Ensure outstanding client service by upholding quality standards and maintaining regular client engagement.
- Develop, mentor, and support your teams on project / technical delivery.
- Identify and exploit opportunities to cross-sell services & locations.
- Facilitate the upskilling of colleagues and offer avenues for career growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, ACostE, ICES, or equivalent relevant professional body, coupled with NVQ Level 3 in Project Controls or progress towards it.
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or equivalent expertise and certifications.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying techniques and a deep understanding of the construction sector.
- Knowledge of government initiatives and policies relevant to the industry.
