We are working with a reputable, award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy who have offices throughout the UK. Their Birmingham office is looking to grow the Structures team by the appointment of an Associate structural engineer to head a team of engineers and technicians.
Projects are diverse and include residential, commercial, education and healthcare and values are £100m+. Their existing portfolio boasts some high-profile schemes which support sustainable engineering and champion innovation.
About you:
- Team leader who can act as a role model whilst mentoring and providing technical guidance, enhancing the development of the team;
- Experience as a project leader, with a good grasp of financial aspects and timetables of each scheme;
- Chartered engineer or working towards, with a degree in civil or structural engineering;
- Able to instil a sense of pride in your team, championing them and celebrating their successes;
- Good client relationship skills;
- Flexible and adaptable.
