Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part 2)

£26,000-£32,000

Permanent

Cheshire, North West

Conrad Consulting, in partnership with a small/medium-sized architectural studio near Macclesfield, are looking for an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team.

This is a small, yet highly ambitious Architectural practice. They are looking to grow their business in a measured way: To accommodate for an ever-increasing workload whilst retaining the core values and culture of their business. Projects here typically fall within the Commercial, Leisure and Residential sectors. They are not limited to these areas and have plans to diversify in the years to come.

Their current staff have mostly been with the company for a minimum of 5 years and their Directors bring a modern and youthful approach to running their business whilst retaining the core values that have made them such a success. They have a culture of internal promotion and are keen to push younger and 'lesser-experienced' members of staff through the ranks. This is somewhere that you will be given job-running responsibilities, be given support from Senior members of staff and most importantly be rewarded for it with a good salary and benefits package.

If this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, please read on for a full breakdown of criteria we want the RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant candidates to meet.

We would hope candidates meet the following criteria:

* RIBA Part 2 qualification (We will accept applications from recently qualified Architects)
* Minimum of 1 year of industry experience – UK based experience essential.
* Well rounded construction knowledge.
* Good interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with internal and external teams.
* AutoCAD skills are essential, REVIT is preferable as well but not essential.
* Knowledge of Microsoft office, Sketch-up and Photoshop are also a minimum requirement
* Lives local to Macclesfield, Stockport, Wilmslow or in the South/East Cheshire region.
* Full driving licence with access to a car.

Salary: £26,000-£32,000 per annum.

This opportunity will offer the successful candidate significant exposure to large scale projects across the North West and on a national scale.

Please get in touch using the contact details provided for further information. Alternatively, please send an updated CV & portfolio through for review. Suitable applicants will be contacted immediately.
