My client is looking to expand their Cost Management Consultancy by obtaining experienced Quantity Surveyors to join their business in Manchester. They work on pre and post-contract services across a diverse portfolio looking at projects within the Residential, Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors.
The ideal candidates should possess skills and experience in the following areas:
- Qualified or working towards MRICS with a relevant degree or minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
- Professional background in a consultancy setting.
- Previous experience in healthcare and/or education projects would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with cost management and quantity surveying duties, including proficiency with NEC and JCT contract forms.
- Competence in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Willingness to participate in design team and site progress meetings as needed.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documents.
- Experience in developing cashflow forecasts and financial reports.
- Ability to verify valuations accurately.
