Award-winning AJ100 architectural practice seeks a talented Conservation Architect to join their team in Oxford

This practice has been established for decades and have managed to forge an outstanding reputation as one of the country's leading consultancies. With over 250 talented architects, designers, heritage consultants and surveyors across 14 offices in the UK and overseas, the opportunity exists to become a part of something huge.

We are looking for an experienced Conservation Architect to join the Oxford studio on a permanent basis. Those who can demonstrate a creative passion for the traditional development of projects from a Conservation aspect are highly sought after!

The successful Conservation Architect will evidence keen attention to detail and high-quality examples of work submitted with their applications. You will need to be able to display a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and understanding of company projects and culture.

It is essential that you can demonstrate a track record of running a number of Conservation lead projects previously.

Conservation Architect requirements:

  • RIBA Chartered Architect
  • Buildings Conservation experience essential
  • AABC, IHBC, RIBASCA Accreditations will be highly desirable
  • 3+ years’ experience working in historic building conservation
  • Proven project running experience
  • Technical competence and site experience
  • Proven experience working on RIBA stages 4 & 5
  • Excellent design & drawing skills
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Revit proficiency & BIM Conservation experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of UK Building & Planning Regulations

The successful Conservation Architect will receive a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the region of £38-£45k.
