Starting off with a small design office 60 years ago, this multidisciplinary consultancy has expanded to have over 300 staff members across several offices throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, aviation, residential, and industrial.
CIVIL ENGINEER RESPONIBILITIES
- Design and deliver civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software such as Civils 3D
- Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS CIVIL ENGINEER POSITION
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered or nearing Chartership.
- 5+ years consultancy experience.
- Experience using Civils3D and undertaking drainage SuDS designs using Causeway Flow.
- Able to produce Flow Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy reports for planning.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
