A forward-thinking multi-disciplinary construction consultancy presents a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Junior BIM Assistant to join their team in London

Conrad Consulting have a long-standing relationship with this well-established and highly-reputable firm who provide construction and property consultancy across the majority of industry sectors.

This dynamic firm provide a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community. They have offices across the country – which have recently been added to - proving that they are a company heading in the right direction!

They are currently looking to grow their BIM team and this requires the addition of an ambitious Junior BIM Assistant who will work closely with the BIM Manager, assisting the firm in their transformative BIM journey.

The role would see you focus primarily on Revit workflows, content and development. As a BIM specialist you will be responsible for creating, managing, and utilising digital modelling techniques in the context of Revit building projects. You should confidently apply BIM methodologies and technologies to facilitate collaboration, coordination, and efficiency throughout all project lifecycles. This feeds directly into documenting best practice workflows that can be widely applied companywide. A key part of your role is to harvest this information and make it digestible to others.

Junior BIM Assistant Essential Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic attitude towards BIM, keen eye on wider technology advancements and societal shifts - such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual/Augmented Reality.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Previous experience within the UK Architecture industry is highly desirable.

The successful Junior BIM Assistant will receive a highly competitive salary likely to be in the region of £30k plus all the support and guidance needed to truly develop your career within BIM.
