 A fantastic opportunity is available to join a large multi-award winning Architectural company as an Associate Director based in Exeter.

The successful Associate Director will be responsible for the creation and implementation of multiple projects in a multi-disciplinary environment both to schedule and within budget in the South West region.

In addition to developing leads and aiding with company expansion through securing new business the Associate Director will provide an inspirational and motivational leadership style to provide management and direction within the companies ethos.

Qualifications and experience the Candidate must possess –

  • ARB registered and RIBA chartered member
  • Bachelors Degree in an Architectural related discipline
  • Demonstration of commercial experience, professional training and current industry knowledge
  • Extensive experience in a similar or relatable role
  • In depth understanding of Business Planning, Commercial Risk Management and Financial Management
  • Demonstratable success in securing new business opportunities
  • Up to date knowledge of current legislation within construction, health and safety and asbestos associated hazards and risks
  • Possess a current site card or be able to attain one immediately
  • Hold a Full UK Driving License

  • To support the relevant director in establishing overall design vision, philosophy and work processes for client projects and design teams.
  • To support the coordination of projects and to facilitate communications within the various project teams within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ensuring the Architectural functions deliver to the Architectural business plan, meet objectives and targets including agreed profit margins.
  • Implementing and maintaining monthly architectural resource management plans
  • Meeting clients to take initial briefs on projects and communicating information with the design team
  • Providing an inspirational leadership and management style to provide direction and support to teams consistent with the companies values
