A highly reputable Architectural firm listed amongst the country’s elite in the AJ100 rankings seeks an experienced Architectural Technologist to work upon award-winning projects in both the public and private sectors from their new office in Bristol.

An eminent AJ100 Architectural practice are looking to recruit talented Architectural Technologists to form part of a new team – playing an important part of the further development of the company.


The practice have successfully delivered projects across the residential, commercial, education and manufacturing sectors for decades and their successes look set to continue well into the future.


For this particular Architectural Technologist role, you will gain the opportunity to work upon projects largely within both the large-scale Residential and Education sectors. As such, experience within these sectors will be highly sought after!


The ideal Architectural Technologist will need be proficient in running medium-sized projects from Stage 4 onwards. They will also come with experience in leading a team – with the capability of liaising with clients and consultants effectively.


We also be looking for candidates who possess experience in BIM and working in a 3D environment, with knowledge about clash detection and coordinating with consultants' information. ArchiCAD proficiency would be ideal although training can be provided to the right candidate.


The successful Architectural Technologist will work directly with Associate Directors and Project Architects in collating, organising, investigating and producing technical information for use during the development of the project design as well as adopting the role of Project Lead from commencement of RIBA stage 4 through to completion.


Architectural Technologist Requirements:

  • Relevant Technical Qualification - Degree/HNC/HND
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Previous experience within the Residential & Education sectors – desirable
  • Excellent Communication/Presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of current UK legislation
  • Hand-Drawing/Sketching skills – advantageous
  • Full UK Driving licence
