Job role: Recruitment Administrator
I had never had a dream job in my mind when leaving school, but always had a passion to travel, with cabin crew being my first career goal. I successfully secured a role at the young age of 18 and after a busy season travelling, then I moved into a temporary office role for the winter and didn’t look back to the unsociable world of travel!
From here I began a varied enjoyable role in a large organisation to include customer service, account management and digital support. With many transferable skills I started my recruitment career back in 2012 for a growing company specialising in Social Care recruitment across the Northwest. Within this role I was a successful 360-consultant working both contract and permanent roles, building lasting relationships with clients and candidates.
2016 saw the birth of my first born, Teddy. Juggling being a working mum and a very busy recruitment desk I decided to delve into the world of internal recruitment back in 2019, for a new and growing organisation within the Scientific industry. Managing to build a new internal role successfully during the challenging times of Covid, I thoroughly enjoyed the different dynamics of the recruitment world.
My lovely world was then turned upside down in January 2022 which saw the arrival of my twins, William & Daisy. To say life got a little crazy is an understatement! Which brings me to Conrad in February 2023, here I am providing business support across the 3 locations of Conrad 2 days a week.
Outside of work, I enjoy lots of walking with the babies and keeping my energetic Teddy busy, with the occasional visit to the local pub. Being a busy working mummy to 3, I don’t get a huge amount of time, but we do like the occasional night off to our favourite spot in the lakes!
