Principal Transport Planner

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum (Permanent)

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

An independent consultancy in Cambridge is looking to expand their current team by recruiting a Principal Transport Planner. The team are currently working on a range of development planning projects across the South East and London. You will be working on a variety of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Retail and mixed Use developments.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant transport planning subject, together with recent experience of being either a Senior or Principal Transport Planner. A successful track record of managing projects and building client relationships is advantageous. You will also have experience in most of the following:

* Preparation of Transport Assessments and Statements
* Writing Travel Plans
* Knowledge of software such as ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG
* An understanding of Manual for Streets and DMRB
* Producing preliminary highway/ junction designs
* Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Mentoring junior members of the team
