The role we are recruiting for is for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering sector. You do not require any existing knowledge of the industry, however any knowledge of the built environment sector will put you in good stead to hit the ground running.
Successful consultants quickly immerse themselves in the industry and pick up industry-specific technical knowledge and understand how Mechanical & Electrical Engineering sits within other Construction disciplines (but don’t worry if this sounds daunting, it’s easier than it sounds and we help you get to grips, so that you can be a specialist in your field)
You will work within, and strengthen, a team of consultants in our Suffolk office to support our existing clients and source new clients. Our consultants are able to take advantage of our various regional offices in Edinburgh, London and Leeds as additional work locations to lengthen weekends and visit clients around the UK.
Consultants with clients local to our offices will also be able to request use of the company pool car in order to visit clients.
You will gain valuable interpersonal skills from liaising with clients and candidates, negotiating contracts and satisfying requirements from both parties. In order to do this, you will need to have good communication skills, the ability to be pragmatic and a resilient work ethic.
If you wish to discuss the role or responsibilities in further detail, please do not hesitate to get in touch for a discussion.
If you think you might enjoy this type of position, submit a copy of your CV to Martin Bell. We hope to be inviting you for an interview very soon.
