£48,000 - £49,000 per annum (Permanent)
Conrad Consulting is working with a multi award winning property development and new build housing contractor who are looking to secure the services of an experienced Site Manager to deliver a new project in the East of Scotland.
This exciting new development is a 100 unit plus flatted development spread across 8 blocks of 4 & 5 storeys. It will be built using concrete slabbing and ground floor with a timber frame superstructure on top of this and associated steelwork for the internal stairwells and a slip brick, cladding and zinc façade.
This development will really stand out within it's surroundings and will provide much needed housing to the local area. The site itself is located in a tight part of town so an ability to manage operational logistics including material deliveries and associated traffic management comfortably is essential.
Our client is not interested in or driven by KPI's or how fast units can be delivered. They are focused solely on solid construction and delivering high quality to the market and their programme lengths reflect this.
What About You?
We are looking to speak with experienced Site Managers who have a history of delivery new build projects. You don't necessarily need to have flatted development experience (great if you do), just a sound knowledge of residential new builds.
You will be expected to:
* Oversee all trades on site
* Update and manage programme for accurate reporting of progress
* Carry out take offs
* Organise any additional labour, plant or materials required
* Work closely with Assistant Site Manager and delegate tasks as required
On offer for this position is a salary of £48k + the option of a company car, £5k car allowance or a works van and fuel card. There are also a host of other benefits that come with a permanent position.
What Happens Next
On receipt of your application our dedicated Construction recruiter, Kevin Deeney, will contact you to discuss this opportunity in full detail. Kevin will disclose the name of our client to you prior to submitting your CV for consideration for this or any other company we are working with.
