Job Title: Senior Site Manager

Location: Edinburgh City Centre

We are working with a leading main contractor, specialising in design and build projects delivered across a variety of sectors, who are currently seeking a talented Senior Site Manager to join their dynamic team for a large-scale new build project in the heart of Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Manage and coordinate all site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Implement and maintain project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks as they arise.
Collaborate with the design team to address any issues related to design and construction methods.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or similar role in main contracting, particularly with design and build projects.
Strong background in large-scale new build projects, with experience in steel or reinforced concrete frame construction.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management or a related field.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
