Senior Project Manager (Healthcare Construction Projects)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to work client-side for one of London's premier private healthcare centres.


The ideal project Manager will lead execution and construction of a new healthcare facility (specialist centre for cardiology, orthopaedics, neurology and executive screening) located in central London and reporting line direct to the MD of HSMC.


My client is flexible with previous experience as long as it's within construction healthcare.

Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager:


Project manage the build to ensure the facility is delivered on time, to budget and agreed specification.
Manage main construction contractor and associated contractors in the project team.
Manage RIBA 5 (construction phase of the project).
Deliver project plans, chair project meetings, complete internal and external risk matrices.
Provide updates to Exec team on progress and exception reporting.
Develop an operational plan for the building.
Support the Marketing Communications Manager on marketing activity pre-launch.
Ensure building meets CQC and other healthcare regulations.
Oversee and deliver commissioning of facility and services with regulatory bodies.

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager:


An experienced project manager with at least 5 years' experience in the healthcare sector.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Good interpersonal skills including dealing with complaints and queries.
Good 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues and external suppliers.
Willingness to travel when required.
Experience in healthcare construction projects.
Track record of delivering complex projects.
An understanding of financial management and procurement.
Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems knowledge of healthcare services in London.

In Return:


£55-65,000 (basic)
