Senior Architectural Technician
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Benefits (Permanent)
Conrad Consulting are recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a reputable Housebuilder based in their rural office near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
The company have an excellent reputation in the local area. Their work typically spans the Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and parts of North Wales. They have been in successful operation for over 30 years and they have real ambitions to grow on the back of a really successful year. Their project work can range from a small Residential development through to 500/600+ units. Technical work is produced using AutoCAD and their existing team can offer a high-level of Technical support to new hires, hopefully making the adjustment into the new company as smooth as possible.
In order to accommodate their increasing workload and project growth plans for the next 18-24 months they are looking to Recruit 1 or maybe 2 Architectural Technicians, including at least one Senior member of staff. Alongside this they will look to hire a Technical Coordinator, full details of that role can be found on the Conrad Consulting website.
The successful candidate here will play a vital role in the delivery of their development pipeline and will join a small dynamic team that provide a wide range of technical support to the business including the development of the standard house type designs and specifications, the supervision of external professionals who input into planning and technical approvals, the design of individual site layouts, co-ordination of engineering and services information, the management of planning and building regulations submissions as well as supporting construction through the delivery process.
Key criteria for Senior Architectural Technician applicants to demonstrate include the following:
· Degree or equivalent (HNC/HND) in Architectural Technology or similar.
· AutoCAD experience is essential. REVIT, Sketchup, Photoshop would be advantageous.
· Detailed knowledge of UK building regs / NHBC standards.
· Demonstrable experience within the UK Housebuilding sector.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload efficiently.
The successful candidate will receive the following:
· Competitive salary - £35,000-£45,000
· Annual Bonus scheme.
