Architect - Residential & Heritage projects
£35,000 - £45,000 per annum (Permanent)

A unique opportunity had arisen for a qualified Architect with Residential and Heritage sector experience to join a busy, Manchester-based firm as they continue to expand and diversify their workload.
Our client are a specialist in the refurbishment and restoration of existing buildings. Often these buildings will be Grade 1 or Grade 2 listed and therefore require an extraordinary attention to detail from their specialist team of Architects and Designers.
They are currently undertaking several bids for Conservation work. These projects are primarily existing buildings looking to be utilised and adapted into Residential schemes whilst remaining sensitive to the existing structure and details. In order to be successful here it is important for applicants to have experience in dealing with similar projects as these, primarily at stages 0-3. Coupled with this it is important for applicants to demonstrate a level of commercial awareness; the ability to realise potential in such important, historical buildings.
To apply for this Architect, we would want applicants to meet the following criteria:
* ARB/RIBA qualification.
* Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience required.
* AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup.
* Full, clean driving licence with access to a car.
* Proven experience in submitting bids.
* Proven experience at stages 0-3 of the RIBA plan of work.
This role will be offered on an initial 6-month basis. This will be a staff role with the opportunity to go full-time/permanent following successful completion of the 6 month period.
