RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant

£24,000 - £26,000 per annum (Permanent)

Wakefield, West Yorkshire

RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant is required to join a growing multi-disciplinary Building Surveying & Architectural Practice based in Wakefield.

You will be joining a business that has grown significantly during the last 12-18 months, despite the pandemic they have recently welcomed 7 new hires to the Practice and are remarkably defying the boom and gloom, they remain incredibly busy and are bullish for their future plans. Their in-house Architectural team is now four strong and is expected to continue to grow.

Specialising with work in the Commercial, Industrial and Residential sectors you will work as part of their in-house design team and report to the Architect who heads up the division. We are seeking a work experienced Part Assistant who has good knowledge of UK Building regulations, AutoCAD proficient and has a keen eye for striking design. You will either have completed your Masters and be building up your work experience prior to completing your part 3 or be enrolled on your part 3 casework, mentorship and professional guidance will be offered to the latter.

Projects are a combination of new build and refurbishment schemes with a majority of those currently in the Residential sector, you will be exposed to all RIBA stages 0-7, required is someone with a full UK driving license as you will be require to travel to site as there will be the opportunity to gain some job running experience.

Key attributes of the Architect as follows -

* MSc qualified RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant (ideally with some PT2 work experience but not essential)
* Proficiency in ether AutoCAD or REVIT software. (REVIT training can be provided)
* Solid knowledge of UK Building regs.
* Experience in some of the aforementioned sectors.
* Keen to develop and progress within a growing company.
* Good client facing and job running qualities.
* Keen to gain experience on site in a project delivery capacity.

Salary £24,000 - £26,000 DEO + annual bonus, Life assurance. Support and mentorship available to become fully qualified, Part time hours considered until graduation is complete.
