Property Management Surveyor

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Permanent)

Glasgow

Following a period of rapid expansion our client, a highly successful property management company, is currently managing in excess of £750M of commercial property assets which involves the in-house management of over 150 properties encompassing over 1,200 lettable units.

As a result of this success they are currently looking to recruit a Property Management Surveyor to join their team in Glasgow. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the property management of a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial property assets, predominately office and industrial, situated throughout the UK.

Responsibilities:

* Property inspections,
* Ensuring tenant compliance with lease obligations,
* Liaising with the accounts team regarding rent, service charge and insurance demands and debt control,
* Setting and managing service charge budgets,
* Instruction and supervision of contractors and service providers,
* Reviewing and processing tenant applications,
* Ensuring premises are compliant with all Health and Safety, Insurance, Fire Risk Assessment and all other statutory requirements,
* Manage transition events on any sale, purchase or new lease situation,
* Instructing and liaising with solicitors, agents and other consultants.

Requirements:

* A proven track record in commercial property management,
* MRICS or similar qualification is preferred but not essential,
* Applicants should be willing to travel throughout the UK,
* The ability to work with a high level of autonomy and self-reliance is essential,
* The ability to work under own initiative,
* The ability to provide a high quality, personable, professional service to both clients and their tenants is essential.
