Project Manager - Home Improvements

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Permanent)

Woodbridge, Suffolk

About the Company
This rapidly growing family run business is one of the fastest growing home improvements companies in Norfolk & Suffolk. Due to this continuous growth they are looking for a Project Manager to join their Suffolk team.

About the Role

* You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are running to plan and are organised, implemented and maintained in an effective and efficient manner whilst maintaining the profit margins
* Responsible for delivering the scheduled work, organising stock, liaising with customers and the smooth completion of projects - along with any remedial work
* Accurate and efficient processing of quotations and orders ready for manufacture
* Create, develop and implement a project schedule
* Record project timelines and maintain the database of tasks and status compliance.
* Ensure the provision of scheduled reports for contract coordination and reporting purposes
* Liaise with all stakeholders, including customers and the installation teams, ensuring the scheduling of work, and coordinating of assignments
* Work closely with the sales and installation staff to define the scope of work
* Ensure all materials are in stock for the installation projects
* Develop and update detailed schedules, including cost information and variance analysis comparison with original plan
* Evaluate schedule progress and performance and identify any problem areas that may develop
* Analyse critical path and constraints, determine effect of changes to the schedule and recommend work arounds

About You

To be considered for this role:

* You will have a sound knowledge of the home improvement industry, particularly windows, doors and conservatories
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Excellent experience of data input using Microsoft Excel and general strong knowledge of software used in the Home Improvement industry
* Experience of job costing both manual and electronic
* Experience of working with bespoke CRM systems
* Strong team working skills with the ability to provide support to team members
* A strong sense of humour with the ability to manage and implement change
