We are currently looking to source an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a leading main contractor in the North East Scotland. Delivering high-quality new build construction projects across various sectors, ranging from commercial to residential developments, and with a commitment to excellence and innovation, they offer exciting opportunities for professional growth and development.
We are looking for a skilled Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully delivering new build construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent management skills, and a diplomatic approach to problem-solving. As a vital member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity on-site while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of new build construction projects across various sectors.
* Manage project budgets, programmes, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
* Implement and enforce safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
* Lead and motivate project teams to achieve optimal performance and project success.
* Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
* Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns.
* Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members through effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering new build construction projects across various sectors.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
