Senior Mechanical Engineer

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (Permanent)

Our client is an international multi-disciplinary and award-winning consultancy, that now has a compelling opportunity to become a part of their highly established team. Based in Glasgow, Scotland they are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team and help maintain their esteemed reputation. The successful candidate will require the drive to ensure they always deliver only the highest level of dedication within their work as well as always ensuring professionalism throughout projects. Our client has a varied and exciting project portfolio, across a diverse range of building types.

It is vital that the successful engineer is assured of their own skills and attributes in order to always work accurately and effectively. You will have the desire to optimize your technical ability of mechanical designs across an extensive range of building types. You will possess exceptional time management skills to guarantee the full project process from concept to completion is carried out to high standards in an effective and timely manner. Experience with the use of industry-specific software such as Hevacomp, Cymap, IES. You will also display outstanding communication skills to positively impact design team meetings as well as building and sustain a strong relationship between your team and the end client.

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

* The ownership of a Mechanical engineering or building services degree.
* CEng, or obtaining an ideally industry-recognised qualification.
* Technically able within the design of Mechanical systems.
* 8-10 years in the building services industry.
