Principal Electrical Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (Permanent)

Are you looking for the opportunity to take a step up in to the position of Principal Electrical Engineer with one of the world's most well consultancy's?

The client that we are currently working with have been established for over a century and have offices across the globe. They are working on the most well publicised and recognisable projects that the world has to offer. They currently employee over 4,000 extremely talented engineering professionals across the globe and are known for producing some of the best building services talent in the country. They are currently looking for an extremely technically capable principal Electrical Engineer that will be able to come in and hit the ground running in their Birmingham office.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience when it comes to the detailed design of Electrical Systems within a variety of different building types, so varied sector experience is essential. You will also be completely comfortable handling business when it comes time to go client side, capable of producing reports and delivering presentations to clients as well as other professionals throughout the business. You will be capable of mentoring junior and intermediate engineers in to becoming capable members of the business and be comfortable handling financial control of projects and the increased development of the business.

Principal Electrical Engineer Requirements:

* Degree In either Electrical engineering or building services
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in a design role in a building services consultancy
* CEng or working towards
* Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
* Good knowledge of a variety of different design software
* Up to date knowledge of Building legislation
* Full UK driving license
