Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior BIM Technician to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, contributing to the successful delivery of our diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for a variety of large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM content.
- Coordinate BIM processes across multiple disciplines, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and team members.
- Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in BIM technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a BIM Technician, with a proven track record in delivering large, complex projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management).
Desirable:
- Experience working on projects in sectors such as film studios, hotels, or retail units.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, BIM 360, and other advanced BIM tools.
