Technical Bid Writer

£10,000 - £35,000 per annum + Good Benefits (Permanent)

Conrad Consulting are pleased to be supporting a leading multidisciplinary construction business based on the outskirts of Ipswich. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Technical Bid Writer to join their established team on a permanent basis

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 12 months bid writing experience within the construction / Engineering industry and have strong writing and communication skills.

* You will maintain and develop an effective internal system for collating data, information and records relating to bids, tenders and all frameworks
* You will successfully research each bid alongside your Bid Co-ordinator and develop a full understanding of individual project requirements, including understanding the clarifications and how the client information informs their bid responses
* You will contribute to the in-depth analysis of the bids key drivers and provide appropriate in-depth overview order to add value and supply the most competitive and compliant bid as required
* Oversee and manage multiple resources to deliver a strong, winning case to a prospective client
* You will gather technical data from internal divisions and operational teams such as Site Managers, Finance and commercial and interpreting this into layman's terms in order to construct compelling and readable text ensuring that a visionary and bespoke solution is offered to the Client
* You will review and manage the case studies relevant to different stages and key milestones of projects, focusing on output of delivery relating to the role the business plays in these projects
* As the Bid Writer you will complete all bids in a timely manner, ensuring that all submitted material is grammatically correct, well-researched and without errors
* You will be responsible for Analysing and reviewing submitted bids to continuously improve processes, procedures and content, and ensure we have accurately prepared responses which are relevant to the questions
* Take a lead with innovation within the team to improve the bid process and develop the company brand in order to increase bid success
* You will manage and develop the team's internal bids tracker and provide regular updates to all opportunities and bids where necessary, including support to the Bid Co-ordinator in proactively chasing outcomes of individual bid submissions
