Associate Mechanical Engineer

£65,000 - £68,000 per annum (Permanent)


Our client is an independent building services consultancy, whose continued success has now created an excelling opportunity to become a part of their small but highly skilled team. Based in Edinburgh they are now looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join their ranks and help maintained excel their growth. The successful candidate will require the ambition to ensure they always deliver only the highest quality of work within their expertise as well as always ensuring professionalism throughout project completion. Our client has a range of building services projects in the following but only expanding sectors Healthcare, education, and heritage to name a few.

It is crucial that the successful engineer is confident in their own skills and attributes as well as have the ability to lead and drive their team forwards to always guarantee precious and efficient work. You will have the desire to optimise your technical ability in mechanical designs across a varied range of building types. You will have exceptional time management skills to guarantee the full project process from concept to completion is carried out to high quality in an effective and timely manner. Experience with the use of industry-specific software such as Hevacomp, Cymap, IES. You will also display excellent communication skills to positively impact design team meetings and build and maintain a strong relationship between your team and the end client.

Associate Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

* The ownership of a Mechanical engineering or building services degree.
* CEng, or obtaining an ideally industry recognised qualifications.
* Technically able within the design of Mechanical systems.
* 12+ years in the building services industry.
