£33,000 - £38,000 per annum (Permanent)
Experienced Architectural Technologist required to support the delivery of a wide variety of project work for an esteemed Chartered Architectural Practice based in South Yorkshire.
Immersed in a series of major design led commissions you will be joining the commercial team of this well known Practice and be thrust into leading a variety of new projects predominantly across their core portfolio which consists of Retail, Industrial and occasionally some cross over into their Residential division.
You will be joining a remarkably robust business who due to their cross sector portfolio of clients have managed to continue their ambitious growth strategy despite the recent challenges. They work primarily within Residential, Commercial and Retail industries for a mixture of developer led, private and public sector clients. The Practice has a rich heritage spanning some 50 years and are proud to have built an exceptional team of talented Technical and Design professionals, they have an excellent culture and people at all levels enjoy working for this business, proof being for their size they have an unusually low turnover of staff.
The Architectural Technologist will be expected to produce clear, concise and detailed working drawing packages, alongside details, specifications and schedules to a consistently high standard and with thorough regard to current UK Building Regulations and legislation. The construction drawings are produced using REVIT software so a proficient user is required, however candidates with some REVIT experience (either a course or some basic knowledge) will be considered as they do have an in-house REVIT / BIM academy which can be utilised for the right candidate.
Requirements for the Architectural Technologist as follows -
*Comprehensive understanding of current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation.
*Ability to demonstrate strong technical knowledge.
*Tenacity to work independently and have excellent communication skills.
*Collate and organise technical information.
*Ability to investigate technical information and factors that affect developments including user needs, site and building surveys and regulatory requirements.
*Ability to monitor and influence health and safety in design.
*Prepare design proposals in REVIT.
*Contribute to the detailed design process and co-ordinate the design information.
*Prepare specifications, drawings, land and documents for statutory approval.

Starting salary depending on experience and suitability £33,000 - £38,000 per annum based on 35 hours per week.
