Architect - Conservation & Heritage projects

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Permanent)

Architect with some Conservation and Heritage project experience required to join a stylish and inventive Architectural practice in Manchester.

This unique position will offer you the chance to undertake an important role with in a small yet ambitious practice as they look to add further experience to their design team. You will be offered the chance to work on a wide range of projects across the following design sectors: Residential (Housing, conservations, extensions, listed building alterations), Restaurants, Bars, Shop fit-outs, Museums and Masterplanning: a truly eclectic mix of projects. It is important that you have some experience working on conservation or listed-building schemes as the future workload here covers these building-types frequently.

You will be working closely with, and will be mentored by one of the most reputable Architects in the local area. Within your first 6 months within the business your skillset will develop and be fine-tuned with a view to offering you full job-running responsibilities thereafter.

In order to be considered for this position, we would hope for you to meet the following criteria:

·RIBA/ARB registered Architect (Between 1-5 years post qualification experience). Experienced Architectural Assistants will be considered.
·Residential sector experience preferred. However all sector backgrounds will be considered.
·Knowledge & experience of working on Conservation, heritage and listed building schemes.
·Familiar with AutoCAD, REVIT or Vectorworks software.
·Have use of your own transport.
·Be comfortable visiting sites and working independently when required.
·Have excellent communication skills. Both written ad Verbal.

A competitive salary is on offer for the successful candidate (£30k-£35k) dependent on experience.
