An award-winning, design-led studio producing beautifully creative high-end residential schemes require an inventive Architect in Winchester...

Are you an enthusiastic & creative Architect looking to work on innovative, bespoke and sustainable projects alongside a friendly and cohesive team within a fun and relaxed atmosphere?

This opportunity could have it all...

This dynamic, medium-size studio is made up of 10 highly talented Architectural professionals who specialise in the design and construction of exquisite contemporary homes across the country.

Alongside residential projects, the practice is experienced in a wide range of building types including office, retail and mixed use. However, it is in the delivery of beautifully bespoke high-end homes that this practice really excels - and this is being recognised with a burgeoning reputation and awards along the way.

With an impressive portfolio of uniquely artistic schemes, this opportunity would be ideal for an inventive Architect with exceptional design flair looking for a position that will really allow their creativity to flourish.

The role does require an Architect with demonstrable job-running capability and great technical detailing skills. However, it is design talent that we are really looking to harness here. We really require someone who thoroughly enjoys the conceptual design phases of a project and has an outstanding ability to bring fresh and exciting new ideas to the table. If you are a highly creative individual that craves the chance to be given the freedom to really put your own mark upon projects, then this is the chance you've been waiting for!

You will be given all the trust and support to really bring your ideas to life!

The practice is currently using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop to produce their work but they have also recently invested in training their employees on the use of ArchiCAD with a view to shift towards it's use in the new year. As such, previous experience using ArchiCAD would be desirable, but all new employees will be provided with training in the software too.

Architect requirements also include:

* ARB/RIBA Registered Architect
* Up to 5 years post qualification experience
* Experience working on high-end residential projects
* Fully proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop & InDesign
* Proficiency with ArchiCAD would be desirable but training will be provided
* Technical & Detailing experience
* Job running experience
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly
* Ability to provide advice, briefings and reports to clients and other members of staff

The office is located close to the impressive Winchester Cathedral and is conveniently close to local shops and restaurants. There are several accessible car parks near the practice, while Winchester Train Station is only 10 minutes away on foot. Park & Ride options are also available.

The successful Architect will also receive a salary that sits above the market average for the area according to the RIBA salary guide. This is likely to be between £32,000 - £42,000 depending on experience.

You will also receive pension contributions plus 25 days holidays plus bank/public holidays.

Working hours are 9am to 5.30pm, however flexible working hours are also available for those who need it. For example, if you needed to do the school run this would be accommodated for.

This practice has managed to create a relaxed working environment which has resulted in a close-knit team. There's a great balance of fun and work ethic in the office where employees are trusted in their abilities, making this a fantastic place to work.

If you feel that you are an Architect with the verve and vigour to become a part of this vibrant practice, then don't hesitate to get in touch as this opportunity will not be around for long!
