Recruitment Scam Alert

Be aware: Scammers are impersonating recruitment agencies – including ours.

We have recently been made aware of fraudulent individuals posing as recruitment consultants in an attempt to deceive jobseekers. These scammers often contact people via WhatsApp, text message, or email, pretending to offer job opportunities. Their goal is to extract personal information or request payment under false pretenses.

This is not just affecting us – it’s a growing issue across the recruitment industry, as recently reported by the BBC and several other reputable sources. Please be assured: these individuals are not employees or representatives of our company.

Protecting You: What You Need to Know

  • We never charge candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.
  • We will never ask you to share sensitive personal or financial information over messaging apps.
  • Our data has not been breached – scammers are using publicly available platforms to target people.
  • Any genuine communication from us will come from a verifiable company email address, and our consultants can be cross-checked via our website or LinkedIn profiles.

What to Look Out For

Scammers may:

  • Contact you unexpectedly on WhatsApp or via text.
  • Offer unrealistic job opportunities or high salaries.
  • Request personal information such as passport details, bank information, or money upfront for "processing" or "admin" fees.
  • Pressure you to act quickly.

If something feels suspicious, stop and verify.

What You Can Do

If you’re unsure whether a message is genuine, please:

  • Contact us directly through our official website or company phone number – we’re happy to confirm whether a communication is legitimate.
  • Do not share any personal information or send money under any circumstances.
  • Report scam messages:
    • Forward suspicious text messages to 7726 (which spells ‘SPAM’ on your keypad).
    • Forward suspicious emails to report@phishing.gov.uk. (reportphishing@apwg.org for U.S.)

    • Visit WhatsApp’s scam advice page to learn more about protecting yourself on that platform.

    • Report all phishing schemes to FTC at FTC.gov/Complaint

Stay Vigilant

Your safety and trust are extremely important to us. Unfortunately, scammers are becoming more sophisticated, so it's crucial to remain cautious. If you ever have doubts about a message, offer, or consultant claiming to represent our business, please get in touch – we’ll always be here to help.
