I began my career in the insurance industry at the age of 18, learning early on how to balance the demands of a full-time job with raising a family. These formative years taught me resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic — qualities that have shaped my career ever since.
In 2017, I made the move into the world of recruitment, and it quickly became clear that I had found my calling. I’ve always had a natural ability to connect with people, and recruitment gave me the perfect platform to do just that. There’s nothing more fulfilling than helping someone take the next step in their career and knowing you’ve played a part in their journey. Whether it’s supporting candidates through the interview process or working closely with clients to find the right match, I genuinely love what I do.
I’ve always lived locally in Suffolk and feel lucky to call this beautiful part of the country home. I enjoy long country walks, especially when followed by a cosy evening at home with my three much-loved rescue cats. Outside of work, I try to keep life fun and active — I still play netball, enjoy socialising with friends, and love discovering new places to enjoy great food and fine wine.
Travel is another passion of mine, and I’m always looking for my next adventure. This year, I’ll be heading to Norway to try white water rafting — something completely new and a little outside my comfort zone, but I believe in embracing life’s challenges head-on! I’ve also recently taken up pétanque, which has quickly become a favourite for relaxed, sociable competition.
