Job role: Senior Recruitment Consultant
Specialism: Architecture - London
I joined Conrad Consulting in November 2018 to head up the architecture sector for Scotland.
My previous experience in recruitment before joining Conrad Consulting was with a bespoke construction company, who were based in Edinburgh. I developed the architecture sector from scratch, working with some of the most reputable clients and candidates across the country.
A career highlight for me so far was being named ‘Recruitment Consultant of the Year’ in 2016 at the S1 Job Awards.
Day to day, I spend my time speaking to all levels of candidates. This can be guiding and supporting recent graduates through to advising senior individuals on the next step in their career.
I’d be delighted to support any of the following professionals within the architecture field: Architect, Architectural Technician, Architectural Assistants, BIM Managers / Technicians / Coordinators, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, Urban Planners & Design Managers.
My high standards, work ethic and professionalism are key attributes I pride myself on. I believe that this has helped me to develop brand new contacts, as well as retain long-term relationships, with both clients and candidates.
Outside of the office I like to ‘try’ and keep fit by going to the gym, whilst playing football also – but no longer at the level I used to play at! Big golf fan, but still trying to find the right temperament… (If only I could hit the ball as far as I throw my clubs!) If I’m not away supporting Hibs, I’ll try make time to socialise with family and friends.
