Job role: Recruitment Consultant
Specialism: Surveying & Project Management - The South of England
I recently joined Conrad Consulting in May, after spending the last four years living in Leeds at University and then working in recruitment. The first three years were spent graduating from University, where I studied Sports Journalism (obsessed with football). After graduation I moved into IT Recruitment for a year. I have always been interested in Recruitment as I’ve had family and friends that have successfully worked within the industry.
Joining Conrad gave me the opportunity to jump into a new sector and I have enjoyed soaking up all things Surveying & Project Management and establishing relationships with Surveying & Construction firms in the South of England.
I spend a large proportion of my working day catching up with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Building Surveyors which I recruit for, however I am never opposed to assisting in the recruitment of more niche roles such as Project Monitoring and Property Surveyors.
My approach to the market is based on transparency, honesty and pragmatism above all else and I like to work closely with individuals and companies in order to source the right talent. My main focus is finding out the clients’ needs and placing the right candidate within that role to develop a long standing relationship with both parties.
Outside of work you’ll find me playing football, at the gym or spending fortunes going up and down the country watching Liverpool (more fool me). I also love going to festivals and exploring new countries (spent last summer traveling Thailand) and intend to go travelling again in the future!
