Our client a major UK consultancy currently require a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate must have:
• Previous temporary works design experience in formworks, falseworks scaffolding, foundations, shoring and lifting solutions.
• Design and detailing of all temporary works and construction sequences together with the supervision of installation and erection.
• Liaison and coordination with stakeholders including clients, design teams, contractors, network rail, LUL and other affected parties.
• Actively participate in the development of engineering solutions using your technical skills and experience, as well as your knowledge of design and construction.
• Coordinate and manage project team resources.
• Supervise the design and drafting of temporary works.
• Developing erection schemes of special structures such as mobile cranes, tower cranes, floating cranes, etc.
• Previous exposure to negotiations with LUL and network rail.
• Thorough understanding of CDM and Health & Safety regulations related to the construction process.
